Satisfied Clients

Heidi Hagen and Janet Gatejen really made my home buying experience fun and easy. They really listened to my needs and were always very responsive when I had questions - making me feel like they were truly committed to finding the perfect home for me. From our initial meeting to the close of escrow, they were right by my side all the way. I will definitely use them again in the future!

Janet Gatejen, Owner.Broker

I am the Broker for Urban Hound Properties - a real estate company that  I started in January of 2007.  I have been in the real estate business for over 20 years. I have lived in Sacramento all of my life. I was born in East Sacramento and I live here now.  I feel fortunate to live in what I feel is one the best neighborhoods in our city.  I started selling real estate in 1985. I sold my first home on Santa Barbara Court for $87,500.  I am passionate about older homes because they have such a great feel to them. I have lived in East Sacramento  for almost 20 years now.  I live in a home that was built in 1915; the lot was purchased in 1914 by two brothers for 10 U.S. gold coins!

Heidi Hagen, Agent for Buyers

Heidi is, without a doubt, the best buyer’s agent that you will ever meet. She has only been in the real estate business for a little over a year, yet she has the skills and knowledge of a seasoned agent. She takes her commitment to her clients very seriously. She listens, she educates and she advises.  Not only does she hear what the buyer needs and wants, she uses that information to find them the very best home.  She also teaches her clients the important things to know when purchasing a property. This ranges from value, location and style of home, to the types of inspections that should be performed once the property is in escrow. She is very knowledgeable of real estate contracts and disclosures and she advises her buyer on the best strategy to take throughout the entire negotiation process. She is a fantastic negotiator and will fight for her buyer to win; Heidi does not like to lose! The most amazing thing about Heidi is that she is absolutely sincere and dedicated to each and every one of her clients.   Of my 20 years in this business I have never seen an agent so caring and committed.
